Climate: mediterranean, characterized by harsh winters with temperatures reaching -15°C, and hot and humid summers with temperatures reaching 35°C
Soil: the soil is a slightly calcareous white clay, of marine origin
Altitude: 300 – 350 meters above sea level
Training system: traditional Piedmontese guyot with a vine density ranging from 4,000 to 4,500 vines stocks per hectare
Production yield per hectare: 70 quintals/Ha
Average age of the vines: 30 years
Vinification: in 25 – 30 hectolitre French oak barrels for about 18-20 months
Maturing: in bottle for at least 6 months
